Senate Minority Whip John Thune to endorse Tim Scott for president
Senate Minority Whip John Thune, R-S.D., is predicted to endorse Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., throughout his 2024 presidential campaign announcement Monday, a Scott official confirmed to Fox News.

In December, Thune expressed approval of a possible Scott presidential run.
“He’s obviously helped a lot of people around the country in the last year, raised a lot of money and built a lot of relationships that can be very useful if he does [run],” Thune informed POLITICO on the time.
Scott, who’s prolific at elevating funds, has mentioned he hopes to be a unifier within the Republican Party and to keep away from the polarizing strategy of different presidential candidates.
