1 lifeless, 20 injured in Austria after Italy-bound double-decker bus overturns
A bus coach touring via Austria on Tuesday went off the highway and crashed on its side, killing a girl and injuring 20 different passengers, Austria’s APA company reported.
The accident came about close to the village of Micheldorf in Carinthia state in central Austria. The coach was on its means from Berlin through Linz in Austria to Trieste in northern Italy, Austrian broadcaster ORF reported.
Passengers on the double-decker bus included residents from Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Italy and Ukraine, APA reported.

The girl who died was a 19-year-old Austrian, APA reported.
Most of the injured have been taken to a hospital in Friesach, and one critically injured — a 25-year-old German woman — was transferred to a hospital in Klagenfurt.

According to the Red Cross, the bus most likely hit a concrete guardrail and overturned, APA reported.
